Job summary

Archer Western Construction is seeking a Pipefitter for the Tempe JGMWTP Project, in Tempe, Arizona. The Pipefitter will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related portions including metal, plastic, ceramic and composition; install plumbing fixtures.

Responsibilities include installing vacuum piping, drainage and sewage lines, and moving materials for plumbers and pipefitters; candidates should have 3-5 years verifiable experience, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and pass a

Qualifications

3–5 years verifiable experience preferred.
Experience with piping systems and fixtures; knowledge of lengths and construction measurements.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Good manual dexterity; may stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods.
Must be able to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

Assembles and installs piping systems for water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids or gases in buildings and structures.
Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines from buildings to the point of attachment.
Moves materials and equipment for use by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters.
