Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Pipefitter for the Tempe JGMWTP Project in Tempe, Arizona. The Pipefitter will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related components, working with metal, plastic, ceramic, and composite materials; install plumbing fixtures.

Our team offers training and opportunities to work nationwide in Building, Transportation and Water divisions. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of verifiable piping experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to lift up

Qualifications

3-5 years of verifiable piping experience preferred.
Experience with piping systems and fixtures; knowledge of lengths and construction measurements.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather conditions.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
Ability to comply with safety policies and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
May require standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install piping and tubing systems for water, steam, air and other fluids, in and around buildings and structures.
Install vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment.
Handle and move materials and equipment for plumbers, pipefitters and steamfitters.
