Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Ability to read and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to understand, follow and communicate instructions to supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read isometric drawings, taking measurements, fabricating and installing piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt, and clamp components of fabricated metal products for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment via welding and threading.
• Position and secure materials during installation and follow plans and specs.
• Distinguish varying thickness and types of metal materials.
• Manually handle and securely apply rigging equipment.
• Operate beveling machines, cut-off grinders, hammers, torches, magnetic drills and Saw-Zall.
• Layout and install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe and supports.
• Hydro test piping systems.
