Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, diagram and lay-out for pipe welder’s work.
• Coordinate with field labor crew for efficient installations.
• Position the weld set up, fit the piping and perform welds with precision.
• Lay-out and assemble pipes according to standards, quality and safety rules.
• Make welding repairs as needed.
• Assist with pre-fabrication layout or installation coordination.
• Assist with rigging of material.
• Operate welding-related equipment and other tools.
• Estimate sizes, distances, quantities, and resources.
• Inspect work for compliance and correct deficiencies.
