Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Technician to support pilot-scale chemical processing tests by setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and cleaning process equipment at our Minneapolis, MN location.

You will work with Process Development Engineers to ensure safe, accurate testing and documentation, load materials, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. This is a permanent onsite role offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical documents, diagrams, and safety information.
• Experience with hand tools, material handling equipment, and shop math.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, operate, and monitor processing equipment.
• Load materials, collect samples, and document test results.
• Troubleshoot equipment and make process adjustments as needed.
• Perform basic plumbing and utility connections.
• Disassemble, clean, and store equipment after testing.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and finished products.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
