Job summary

ReSource Chemical is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to scale pilot equipment to demonstration-scale production. The role combines solid process design with hands-on operation and troubleshooting in a fast-paced startup setting.

You will work with R&D on bench tests, maintain process design records, and drive safety, collaboration with external partners, and project milestones as we build scalable manufacturing in Oakland, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of process engineering experience in an industrial setting.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, operating, and troubleshooting pilot-scale equipment systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and troubleshoot pilot-scale equipment systems.
• Collaborate with R&D to design, execute, and evaluate bench scale and advanced testing.
• Establish and maintain records of process designs, IP ideation, experimental data, vendor partnerships, and procurement tracking.
• Manage technical communications internally and with external partners.
• Actively enforce a culture of safety, ensuring all operations comply with relevant protocols and that safety concerns are immediately communicated and mitigated.
