Job summary

3M is seeking a Pilot Plant Technician to work in the MRD Tape Process Development Center in Cottage Grove, MN. In this role, you will maintain a safe environment, operate development equipment, and engage with engineers and customers for product testing and improvement.

The successful candidate will have at least four years of relevant experience and skills in mechanical operations, problem-solving, and effective communication. Overtime may be expected to meet customer demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years combined experience in a laboratory/pilot plant environment.
• Experience with hot melt compounding/extrusion, solution coating, and converting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate development equipment for product experiments.
• Maintain accurate process and experimental records.
• Engage with process engineers and customers for product enhancements.
