System One is seeking an Operations Technologist to safely operate processing equipment in Minneapolis, MN. The role is contract-based with 40 hours per week and onsite work.

Responsibilities include leading safety-focused projects, maintaining unit operations expertise, and supervising sanitation and maintenance activities in a production environment. Strong safety knowledge and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment, understand food safety requirements, and perform risk assessments.
• Lead teams through projects to identify and resolve safety risks in food safety and human safety.
• Maintain expertise on multiple unit operations/systems; demonstrate mastery on some systems, teach others, and drive incremental value to customers.
• Lead equipment sanitation activities, inspect sanitation quality, and set up complex systems.
• Perform maintenance, electrical, and controls with a technical focus.
