Job summary
BODYBAR Pilates - Oak Park is seeking a Fitness Manager to lead studio programming and elevate instructor performance while building a vibrant community. You will manage a team, recruit and mentor instructors, and partner with leadership to drive sales and local partnerships.
Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in fitness with leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for BODYBAR methods.
Qualifications
- Degree in Exercise Science or related field or equivalent certification.
- Pilates 500-hour certification or accredited personal training/group fitness cert.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
- Deliver powerful class experiences by teaching approximately 15 BODYBAR Pilates classes per week.
- Lead with a service-first mindset to create standout member experiences.
- Build and manage a high-performing instructor team through recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring.
- Collaborate on studio growth by driving sales and partnerships.
- Own the class schedule to meet client demand and maximize engagement.
- Track KPIs and leverage data to improve studio operations.
- Oversee equipment readiness and maintenance.
