Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a qualified Pilates Instructor to design safe, effective client programs and help members achieve healthier, happier lives.

You will teach private and group Pilates classes, promote training programs, document progress, and maintain the studio's cleanliness and equipment.

Required: High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of personal training, Certified Pilates Trainer, Reformer/Tower/Chair/Barrels training, CPR/AED; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pilates Trainer with Pilates program design experience.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• 150–400 hours comprehensive Pilates certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs for goal achievement and retention.
• Instructs clients during Pilates sessions for safe, effective equipment use.
• Conducts fitness consultations including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Instructs private and group Pilates classes.
• Promotes Pilates training programs and classes to members.
• Completes administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Maintains cleanliness of the Pilates studio.
• Stays current on certifications and trends in the industry.
• Educates members on health and fitness issues and trends.
• Ensures members receive superior customer service and programming.
• Documents all aspects of client programming.
• Maintains credentials and continues education to advance within the levels program.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, education, and motivation.
