Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Pilates Instructor to support members by delivering private and group Pilates classes and designing safe, effective training programs. The role emphasizes client goal setting, progress tracking, and ongoing education to promote healthier lifestyles within the Life Time community.

The instructor will maintain equipment safety, update certifications, and contribute to a welcoming studio environment, while supporting membership experiences and program growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pilates program design
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year of personal training experience and 6 months of experience adjusting body alignment and Pilates apparatus
• Certified Pilates Trainer and CPR/AED certification
• Preferred: college degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or related field

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional Pilates programs to drive client goals and retention
• Instructs private and group Pilates classes
• Monitors clients during sessions and ensures safe equipment use
• Conducts fitness consultations including goal setting for Pilates training
• Promotes and sells Pilates training programs, Group Fitness and Personal Training
• Completes administrative requirements for each client's fitness plan
• Maintains cleanliness of the Pilates studio
• Stays current on certifications and industry trends
• Educates members on health and fitness issues and trends
