Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Pilates Instructor to support members in achieving healthier lives by building strong relationships and delivering education-driven experiences in our Pilates studio.

You will develop personalized and group Pilates programs, guide clients through safe equipment use, and stay current with industry trends and certifications. This role emphasizes customer service, health education, and program promotion within a vibrant fitness environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pilates program design.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of personal training experience; 6 months experience with Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment.
• Certified Pilates Trainer; CPR and AED Certified.
• College degree in Kinesiology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention.
• Instructs both private and group Pilates classes.
• Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment.
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs.
• Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members.
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio.
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry.
• Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends.
