McDaniel College in Westminster, MD is seeking a Pigeon Lab Technician to support the psychology pigeon lab. You will feed and care for pigeons and maintain cages under the supervision of the Professor of Psychology.

This student position runs from August 5, 2026 to May 25, 2027 with a schedule on Monday, Friday, and Sunday, and may extend into the Summer break. The college offers tuition remission and comprehensive benefits.

Job Description:

Position: Pigeon Lab Technician

Effective Date: 02/06/2026

Reports to: Professor of Psychology

Rate of Pay: Maryland Minimum Wage

FSLA Status: Non-Exempt

Location of Position: Merritt Hall, McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, MD 21157

Duration of Appointment: August 5, 2026 to May 25, 2027

Schedule: Schedule is at discretion of supervisor

Evaluation Procedures: Student workers are evaluated on a continuous basis.

Scope: Provide support to the Pigeon Laboratory.

Responsibilities:
