Job summary

Rowan is seeking a weekend-friendly Retail Store Associate for our Burlington Mall studio. You will greet customers, assist with ear piercings, offer product recommendations, and help maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

This hourly, non-exempt role reports to the Studio Manager and involves collaboration with the Studio Nurse Piercers. You will upsell jewelry and aftercare kits, manage transactions, and support inventory and administrative tasks while delivering an exceptional Rowan

Qualifications

• Retail or service industry experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays.
• Independent thinker with a can-do attitude.
• Love jewelry and helping customers choose earrings.
• Strong customer service focus and team spirit.
• Able to thrive in a busy environment and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers to create a celebratory environment.
• Assist with check-in or booking appointments using POS systems.
• Help customers select and style piercing and hypoallergenic jewelry.
• Answer questions about piercing procedures, aftercare, and product details.
• Promote and upsell products including aftercare kits.
• Maintain studio cleanliness and inventory.
• Collaborate with Studio Manager and Nurse Piercers to ensure seamless service.
• Process transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately.
