Job summary

Studs is seeking Apprentices to join a paid 6-week piercing training program at NYC Studios. Graduates become eligible for Part Time or Full Time Associate Piercer positions. Hourly rates are $19 during training and $24 as an Associate Piercer, plus tips.

Full-time and part-time paths include comprehensive benefits, weekend availability, and a strong focus on safety and client experience within a brand focused on accessibility and artistry.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• At least two years as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (venipunctures/finger sticks) preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pierce a minimum 18 appointments a day.
• Willingness to travel to Studios for training (paid by Studs).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a brand ambassador and educate clients on Studs’ experience.
• Deliver confident, clear, and professional communication with clients.
• Maintain detailed record keeping of maintenance, inventory and tools.
• Ensure client experience and work safety standards are met.
• Uphold Studs’ core values and provide best-in-class service.
