Job summary

Studs in Paramus, NJ is seeking Apprentices to join a paid 6‑week piercing training program kicking off in October at our NYC studio locations. Graduates will become eligible for Part Time or Full Time Associate Piercer roles at our Garden State Plaza studio in Paramus.

During training, apprentices earn $19/hour plus tips; after graduation, Associate Piercers earn $24/hour plus tips. Training travel to NYC studios is paid by Studs.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• At least two years as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (venipuncture/finger sticks) preferred.
• Willing to work up to 5 days per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pierce a minimum 18 appointments a day.
• Able to lift 20 lbs and handle chemicals safely.
• Willing to travel to NYC studios for training (paid).

Responsibilities

• Provide piercing services and educate clients on Studs experience.
• Maintain safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and inventory.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and brand representation.
