Job summary

Studs is seeking Apprentices to join its paid piercing training program, beginning in October at NYC studio locations, with progression to Associate Piercer roles at the Garden State Plaza studio in New Jersey.

During the initial six-week training, apprentices earn $19/hour plus tips. After graduation, eligible graduates may become Part Time or Full Time Associate Piercers earning $24/hour plus tips and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant work experience
• At least two years as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (venipunctures/finger sticks) preferred
• Full Time: flexible schedule up to 5 days per week, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Weekend availability required
• Part Time: flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must pierce a minimum of 18 appointments per day
• Must be able to visually inspect ear anatomy for advanced piercings
• Must lift 20 lbs and handle chemicals safely
• Travel to NYC Studios for training (paid)
