Job summary

Studs is seeking apprentices to join a paid six-week piercing training program with classroom and hands-on learning. Graduates become eligible for Part Time or Full Time Associate Piercer positions at the Garden State Plaza studio after training.

The program begins in October with NYC studio sessions; apprentices earn $19/hour during training and $24/hour once graduated, plus tips. Travel to NYC is paid by Studs.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 2 years as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (venipunctures/finger sticks) preferred.
• Full Time: availability up to 5 days/week (32+ hours) with evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Part Time: flexible schedule incl. weekends and holidays.
• Must pierce a minimum of 18 appointments per day.
• Travel to NYC studios for training (paid).

Responsibilities

• Service oriented; educate clients on the Studs experience.
• Maintain piercing procedures and record keeping.
• Uphold integrity and follow SOPs; provide best-in-class service.
