Job summary

Emporium Pies is seeking a Shift Lead to manage the shop floor, guide team members, and ensure outstanding customer experiences. You will run the shift, provide direction, handle issues, and supervise daily operations.

Qualifications include 18+, 3+ shifts/week with weekends, Food Manager cert within 30 days, and prior barista experience. The role offers in-person work and opportunities for bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• Food Manager certification must be completed within 30 days of hire or promotion.
• Previous barista experience required.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to work at least 3 shifts per week, including weekends, with reliable transportation.
• Attend every monthly staff meeting.
• Commitment to punctuality and performance standards.
• Strong leadership capability and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Hold shift huddles before the shift begins.
• Supervise all staff during the shift, providing resources and assistance.
• Assist with implementing and enforcing shop procedures.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints.
• Relay important information to the Shop Manager as needed.
• Count inventory as needed.
• Maintain the organization of the shop inventory and assist with placing orders.
