Job summary

Emporium Pies in Fort Worth, TX is seeking Shift Leads to supervise the shop team, run each shift, and ensure a friendly, efficient customer experience.

Candidates must be 18+, available for at least 3 shifts weekly (including weekends), attend monthly staff meetings, and hold a Food Manager certification with prior barista experience. Compensation is $13.50–$16.50 per hour, with benefits after meeting 30 hours over six months, plus possible bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts per week, including weekends.
• Able to attend monthly staff meetings.
• Punctuality and performance standards must be met.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
• Previous barista experience.

Responsibilities

• Hold shift huddles before the shift begins.
• Supervise all staff during the shift, providing resources and assistance as needed.
• Assist with implementing and enforcing shop procedures.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints.
• Relay important information to the Shop Manager, as needed.
• Count inventory as needed.
• Maintain the organization of the shop inventory and assist with placing orders.
