You will document plans and outcomes, follow age-appropriate protocols, support family education, and participate in shared governance and quality improvement efforts to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma RN with 2+ years experience; if hired without a BSN/MSN, enroll within 1 year and complete within 5 years.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Active Ohio RN License; may require other state licensure.
• Foreign graduates must have license validated through TruMerit per Ohio Board of Nursing code for Foreign Graduates.

Responsibilities

• Compliance - Sustain understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards; support leadership in compliance efforts; ensure certifications and Safety College requirements are fulfilled.
• Uses systems thinking to support care coordination and safety; monitor compliance with CMS standards and departmental policies.
• Clinical judgment in caring practices: collect data, apply protocols, document plans and outcomes, and educate patients/families.
• Clinical inquiry & performance review to improve practice: follow standards, seek learning, and promote safe, ethical practice.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team; participate in shared governance and unit-based councils.
• Interprofessional Practice - integrate IPM in all aspects of practice; advocate for patients and families; consider cultural inclusion.
