Job summary

Cincinnati Children's in Cincinnati, OH seeks a part-time Registered Nurse to join the CICU on the Burnet Campus. The position is 24 hours per week (0.6 FTE) with a rotating shift and regular employee status.

Responsibilities include compliance with regulations, care coordination, clinical judgment, safety and patient-family education, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Ohio RN license required, with 2+ years experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or Diploma prepared RN with 2+ years of experience.
• Preferred: BSN from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution.
• Active Ohio RN License. May be required to obtain other state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Compliance - Patient Services Staff, ensure certifications and safety requirements are fulfilled.
• Uses systems thinking to support patient and family through care coordination and safety practices.
• Clinical judgment in caring practices: collect data, follow protocols, document care and outcomes.
• Clinical inquiry and performance review to improve practice through learning and coaching.
• Collaborates with team in shared decision making and interprofessional practice.
• Advocacy and cultural inclusion in patient care, recognizing patient rights and diverse needs.
