Connecticut Children’s seeks a bedside registered nurse to provide direct pediatric care across the unit, following the nursing process and CCMC standards while coordinating with the health care team.

The role requires ASN, 2–5 years PICU or pediatric critical care experience; CT RN license and BLS. BSN preferred within 3 years; Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training required; PALS preferred within 6 months.

Formación

• ASN required; BSN preferred within 3 years of hire.
• 2-5 years PICU and/or adult critical care experience; pediatric experience considered.
• New grads considered on an individual basis.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct professional nursing care per unit standards.
• Apply nursing process to assess and plan patient care.
• Demonstrate population-specific knowledge from neonate to adolescent.
• Delegate tasks to clinical staff per policy and practice.
• Document timely and communicate with care team.
• Educate patients and families per CCMC policies.
