Job summary

Qualifications

• Licenses/Certifications: Connecticut RN licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Specialty licensure as per department; Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct professional nursing care to a defined patient population.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise and use nursing process per unit policies and standards.
• Maintain documentation, communicate with health care team, and educate patients and families.
