Job summary

Connecticut Children’s is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct professional nursing care for pediatric patients under supervision. You will practice according to CCMC standards, Joint Commission and regulatory requirements, reporting to the Nurse Manager.

Utilizing pediatric nursing knowledge, you will participate in patient/family education, documentation, and collaborative care with the health care team, while contributing to unit leadership and care continuity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct professional nursing care for specified patients throughout the episode of service delivery.

• Delegate duties to clinical staff as appropriate; support unit leadership.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner and communicate with care team.
• Educate patients and families regarding all aspects of care.
