Qualifications

• ASN required upon hire; BSN preferred and required within 3 years.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience on Medical/Surgical unit; PACU and/or pediatric experience preferred.
• Endoscopy Nurse requires knowledge of surgical specialties relative to procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct professional nursing care for specified patients throughout the episode of service.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise and use nursing process for safe patient care.
• Delegate duties to clinical staff and participate in unit leadership and preceptorships.
• Complete documentation timely and communicate with care team.
• Partner with patient and family in evaluating outcomes and providing education.
• Support CCMC mission and standards in all activities.
