Job summary

The Picklr is an indoor pickleball club looking for a Team Lead to manage membership sales and club operations in Burlington and Danvers. You will mentor staff, drive membership and event sales, and ensure a smooth, welcoming guest experience.

We value hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to handle busy periods such as weekends with leagues and tournaments. Flexible availability including weekends is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced service environment.
• Sales experience, especially in memberships or programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shifts, assign priorities, and coach team members.
• Welcome members and guests, support check-ins, and uphold service standards.
• Complete opening/closing duties and ensure the club is ready each day.
• Lead tours, explain membership options, and help prospective members find fit.
• Drive membership, merchandise, and event sales while developing teammates' skills.
• Process payments and operate POS systems; answer member questions.
• Assist with court reservations and registration for leagues and events.
• Support pro shop operations and inventory restocking.
• Address member concerns calmly and escalate when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the facility.

Team Lead – Membership Sales & Club Operations | The Picklr

Enjoy leading a team, connecting with customers, and keeping a busy shift running smoothly? The Picklr is hiring Team Leads for our Burlington and Danvers clubs to support team members, grow membership sales, and deliver an outstanding indoor pickleball experience.

Weekends bring leagues, clinics, tournaments, and plenty of member activity. We're looking for dependable leaders who can keep the team organized, handle challenges, and make every guest feel welcome during these busy periods.

What You'll Do

• Address member concerns calmly and professionally, involving management when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the facility.

Who We're Looking For

You lead by example, follow through on commitments, and stay organized when things get busy. You're comfortable directing a team, starting sales conversations, and using sound judgment to resolve everyday challenges.

Previous experience as a team lead, shift leader, retail supervisor, or hospitality supervisor is helpful. Experience in sales, customer service, fitness, or recreation is also valuable. Above all, we're looking for strong communication skills, initiative, and a willingness to learn.

Applicants must have flexible availability, including consistent availability on both Saturdays and Sundays, and be comfortable supporting busy shifts and special events.
