American University seeks a part-time Physics Admin Assistant to support front desk coverage, office and lab supply organization, advertising and event management for the Physics department. 8 hours per week with a pay rate of $18.40/hour, available to enrolled AU students.

Under supervision of the Senior Administrative Assistant, the role supports laboratory research projects and department outreach as needed, with Federal Work Study eligibility in most cases.

Responsibilities

• Assists front desk coverage, office organization, lab supply organization, advertising, and event management.
• Supports laboratory research projects, such as the Gravitational and Thermal Noise Lab, as needed.
• Other duties assigned.
