Job summary

UC San Diego is seeking a Physician Wellness Program Manager to advance an extraordinary culture of physician wellness across the campus. You will support the Physician Wellness Office, designing, implementing and evaluating initiatives to promote wellbeing among physicians.

As a technical leader, you will oversee analytics, scheduling, cross-functional collaboration, and fiscal reporting, partnering with executive leaders and national wellness experts to drive impact.

Qualifications

• Nine years of related experience OR a Bachelor's degree plus five years in physician wellness or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of organizational development and effectiveness theories.
• Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project planning skills.
• Skilled in facilitation, consulting and relationship building.
• Ability to coach, facilitate and influence across organization levels.

Responsibilities

• Supports Physician Wellness Office through management of the UCSD Physician Wellness website.
• Provides analytic support for internal and external initiatives with focus on impact metrics.
• Streamlines scheduling and communications with internal wellness groups and liaison committees.
• Collaborates with external wellness consultant to assess and implement improvements.
• Acts as ambassador for the UCSD Physician Wellness Office and drives alignment with other wellness efforts.
• Leads cross-functional teams to address complex organizational issues.
• Partners with executive leaders, department chairs, and national wellness leaders to advance initiatives.
• Coordinates fiscal reporting for the Physician Wellness Office and resources.
• Suggests duty modifications to maximize role efficacy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
