Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Physician Wellness Program Manager to support and advance an extraordinary culture of physician wellness. The role combines on-site work at Greenwich Drive in San Diego with a remote component, leading initiatives, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration within the Physician Wellness Office.

The incumbent will manage programs, engage executive leaders, and coordinate budgets and resources to drive measurable impact on physician well-being and organizational

Qualifications

• Nine years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree plus five years in physician wellness or related fields.
• Advanced knowledge of organizational development and effectiveness theories and models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels with a professional demeanor.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and implementation skills.
• Ability to coach, facilitate and influence people at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support the Physician Wellness Office through website management and analytics.
• Provide scheduling and communication coordination with internal wellness groups.
• Collaborate with external wellness consultants to assess and implement improvements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to address complex organizational issues as needed.
• Coordinate fiscal reporting for the Physician Wellness Office budget and resources.
• Engage with executive leaders and departments to advance wellness initiatives.
