Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care in Missouri is seeking a physician to join a fast-paced, patient-centered team. You will treat patients with acute conditions, obtain histories, order tests, diagnose, and prescribe medications.

The role includes minor procedures, vaccinations, and coordination with PA/NPs, with shifts of 8 or 12 hours. Competitive compensation and sign-on bonuses apply.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
• Active state medical license.
• 2 years post-residency clinical experience, ideally in urgent care or emergency medicine.
• Experience treating patients across all age groups.
• Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers.

Responsabilités

• Examining and treating patients with acute conditions.
• Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests.
• Making diagnoses and prescribing medications.
• Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations.
• Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care.
