Job summary

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate physician to join our team in St. Louis. We offer a flexible schedule in a collaborative, modern clinical environment with Epic EMR.

Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds; active state medical license and 2+ years of urgent care or EM experience are preferred. Relocation assistance and a generous sign-on bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
• Active state medical license.
• 2 years of post-residency clinical experience, ideally in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.
• Experience treating patients across all age groups.
• Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities

• Examining and treating patients with acute conditions
• Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests
• Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
• Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
• Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care
• Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support

What We’re Looking For:
