Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in St. Louis, MO is seeking a dedicated Physician to join our state-of-the-art Mercy-GoHealth network. You’ll independently provide a wide range of clinical services within a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

The role offers flexible scheduling in modern centers with imaging, labs and Epic EMR, plus a generous sign-on bonus and performance-based bonuses. PSLF eligibility and strong benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
• Active state medical license required.
• 2 years post-residency clinical experience preferred in urgent care or emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients with acute conditions.
• Take medical histories and order diagnostic tests.
• Make diagnoses and prescribe medications.
• Perform minor procedures and administer vaccinations.
• Document patient progress and coordinate follow-up care.
• Supervise and collaborate with PA/NPs, including remote supervision.
• Work 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced setting.

What We’re Looking For

• Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
• Active state medical license
• 2 years of post-residency clinical experience, ideally in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting
• Experience treating patients across all age groups
• Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers

Your Role
