Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage outpatient and facility physician/ACP templates and daily schedules. This role focuses on coordinating templates, patient scheduling, and patient instructions, while providing excellent customer service to patients and physicians.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of clinical scheduling experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. This position does not involve direct patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare is preferred.
• 2–3 years of scheduling experience in a clinical setting required.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outpatient and/or facility physician/ACP schedules and templates for medical group practices.
• Troubleshoot scheduling issues daily.
• Provide coordination of provider templates, patient scheduling, and patient instructions with excellent customer service.
• Serve as communication link with engagement center, clinical staff, referring physicians, physicians and patients.
• Assist with hospital transfers, arranging care with case managers, and financial resources as needed.
• Provide patient estimates and ensure documentation for authorization of services.
• Assist in training clinical staff and engagement center staff for department templates and visits/procedures.
• Produce and maintain physician schedules based on daily needs and vacations.
