Job summary

Renown-Health seeks a Physician Scheduling Coordinator for the Peds Hematology / Bridge Clinic. This role coordinates outpatient and facility schedules, templates, and related patient instructions; it also provides patient and physician support and ensures smooth scheduling operations.

The incumbent will manage templates, handle scheduling changes, assist with transfers, and support training of staff on department templates and visits, while delivering quality service daily.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Minimum two years scheduling and authorization of insurance experience.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
• Background in Healthcare billing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outpatient and/or facility physician and ACP schedules and templates.
• Troubleshoot physician scheduling issues daily and ensure accurate patient instructions.
• Maintain physician schedules, vacations, and scheduling changes.
• Coordinate patient scheduling, visit preparations, and patient instructions.
• Provide customer service to patients and physicians; liaison with engagement center staff.
• Assist with hospital transfers and coordinating care with case managers.
• Assist training of clinical staff on templates and visits.
