Job summary

Joseph Spine is seeking a Physician Support Specialist to maintain organized scheduling and ensure smooth patient flow for the orthopedic spine practice. This administrative role supports the physician to maximize efficiency between clinics, meetings, and calls.

The position requires at least 2–3 years in a spine-related setting, with strong communication, scheduling, and system management skills using AllScripts EHR and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2–3 years’ experience in orthopedic spine or related clinical setting.
• Fluent in English; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Ability to travel between Tampa and Safety Harbor offices.
• Proficient with AllScripts EHR and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate physician schedule to maximize efficiency across clinics, meetings, and calls.
• Triages messages and replies to patients, physicians, pharmacies, and attorneys.
• Communicate effectively and adapt to changing demands.
• Collaborate with staff to meet Practice goals.
• Schedule, interview, and transport patients as needed.
• Address scheduling, authorization, and billing issues promptly.
