Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Physician Relations Manager within Direct Sales to drive referrals and revenue from a defined physician network. This role is located within an hour of Garland, TX, with travel to Houston roughly every 4-6 weeks and no relocation offered.

You will partner with Operations, Sales, and Marketing to build market share while working 24 hours weekly with flexible days. Target success includes expanding referral channels and developing strategic outreach programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4-8 years of healthcare sales/physician engagement experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience selling to physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to analyze market trends and strategy.
• Proactive, self-motivated with a hunter mentality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of products, services, and local market trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals to drive referrals.
• Meet and exceed sales quotas by educating prospects on benefits of services.
• Assess partnerships opportunities and adapt strategies for win/win outcomes.
• Monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs through market research.
• Expand customer base by using tools and resources to support clinicians.
• Assist marketing with social media content.
• Develop outreach programs to engage customers and raise brand awareness.
• Collaborate with JV partners, KOLs, and customers.
• Understand disease indication trends and run disease-focused outreach programs.
