Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Physician Relations Manager to drive physician referrals and build lasting relationships with clinicians in the Garland, TX area. The role focuses on maximizing revenue through strategic outreach, market intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Sales, and Marketing.

You will analyze physician referral patterns, develop targeted plans, and work with JV partners and KOLs to expand market share while supporting brand awareness and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• 4-8 years of experience, preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• 3+ years of successful healthcare sales/physician engagement/relations, preferably in oncology, imaging or urology.
• Experience prospecting, managing territory/routing, analyzing performance, and communicating value to customers.
• Self-motivated with demonstrated success meeting sales targets in customer growth and retention.
• Excellent communication/presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels.
• Deep understanding of the healthcare market and competitive landscape.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep product, service, and competitor knowledge and market trends.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals to drive referrals.
• Meet and exceed sales quotas by educating prospects and leveraging effective sales tactics.
• Assess strategic partnership opportunities and adapt strategies for win/win outcomes.
• Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs; conduct real-world market research.
• Develop a robust customer base using necessary tools and resources for customers/clinicians.
