Job summary

Mindful Health Solutions is seeking a Physician Outreach Specialist in Newport Beach to grow physician referrals and build new partnerships. You will spend significant time in the field meeting providers, attending events, and leading educational outreach to support clinic growth.

The role requires 3+ years in healthcare settings, strong communication, and the ability to travel across Orange County. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with physicians/providers, medical practice office staff, or other medical specialties.
• Must have working knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance policy (PHI and HIPAA).
• Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, especially around complex issues.
• Self-starter who shows initiative and works well in a fast-paced team environment with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to make sound judgments consistent with company policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Identify referral sources and grow physician referrals through on-site visits, networking events, trade shows, community functions and patient education/outreach events.
• Support growth metrics for clinics and practices (e.g., consults, new patient starts, no-show rates).
• Develop and implement strategic plans to increase referrals based on trends.
• Lead patient-focused community events and act as the point of contact with local community groups.
• Document daily visits and relationship activity in the CRM.
• Provide market feedback to inform operations-based changes in services for referring partners.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Mindful Health Solutions service offerings and value proposition.
• Monitor competitor activities in the area.
• Collaborate with front office, patient intake, marketing, and other departments for alignment.
• Order marketing materials for clinics and the field.
