Job summary

Mindful Health Solutions is actively seeking a Physician Outreach Specialist to grow physician referrals in the San Francisco Bay Area and lead patient-focused community events. You will spend significant time in the field meeting referring providers, attending events, and developing strategic outreach plans based on market insights.

You will collaborate with clinic operations, marketing, and leadership to support growth, track activities in the CRM, and travel ~50–75% to visit practice offices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with physicians/providers or medical practice staff.
• Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance policy (PHI and HIPAA).
• Outgoing personality with excellent written and verbal communication, especially on complex issues.
• Self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, detail-oriented team environment.
• Ability to make sound judgments in line with company policies and laws/regulations.
• Must be located in the San Francisco area and willing to travel within the Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Identify referral sources and grow physician referrals through on-site visits, networking events, and community functions.
• Support growth metrics for clinics and practices (consults, new patients, no-show rates).
• Develop and implement regular strategic plans to increase referrals based on trends.
• Lead patient-focused community events and manage relationships with local groups.
• Document daily visits and activity in the CRM.
