Job summary

UF Health Jacksonville seeks an experienced Physician Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for physicians and APPs in Northeast Florida. You will partner with College of Medicine and administrative teams to implement targeted strategies supporting new site development and workforce planning.

This role emphasizes a data-driven, high-touch candidate experience and close collaboration with stakeholders to build a premier medical workforce for UF Health's growing network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related field required (HR/Marketing/BA).
• Certification within Physician & Provider Recruitment within 1 year of hire/transfer.
• 3+ years' experience in full-cycle recruitment.
• Preferred: prior physician/provider recruitment experience.

• Manage full recruitment lifecycle for physicians and APPs across UF Health Northeast Florida.

Overview

The Physician Recruiter is responsible for managing all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle for physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in high-growth markets across the UF Health system, supporting the Northeast Florida region. Reporting to the Director of Physician Recruitment, this role partners closely with College of Medicine departments and administrative stakeholders to execute targeted recruitment strategies that support new site development, service line expansion, and long-term workforce planning. The position plays a key role in advancing a centralized, data-driven recruitment model while delivering a high-touch candidate experience.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelor's degreein business-related field such as Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration required.

Required Licensure/Certifications:

Certification within Physician & Provider Recruitment required within one (1) year of hire/transfer

Required Experience:

More than three (3+) years' experience of full cycle recruitment

Preferred Experience:

• Prefer prior experience recruiting physicians/providers.
• Prefer strong ability to create and maintain effective working relationships.
• Preferred demonstrated experience using commonly used computer applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)).
• Prefer experience developing, managing and executing recruitment plans.
• Prefer experience developing and maintaining reports and metrics related to provider recruitment, identifying trends and making recommendations.

Necessary Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills to interact with a variety of personalities at all levels of the organization.
• Business acumen/competence: sufficient understanding of physician recruitment landscape and elicit credibility with key stakeholders.
