Job Description Summary
The Physician Recruiter is responsible for devising, overseeing, and implementing innovative strategies to attract top-tier physicians and advanced providers, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Will work closely with colleagues, leadership, and physicians to understand their unique needs and preferences, ensuring alignment between physician profiles and organizational goals.How will you make an impact & Requirements
Position Qualifications/Essential Functions:
Lead the full cycle physician and advanced provider (NP, PA) recruitment strategy, including strategic networking, sourcing, pipeline development, recruiting, hiring, by partnering with physician leadership, RDOs, and HR leadership to drive strategic physician recruitment processes, resulting in physician placements.
Responsible for developing complex and out-of-the-box talent acquisition strategies to recruit physicians and advanced providers to move into a proactive hiring plan.
Work closely with outside marketing partners to build out and maintain employer branding campaigns to include social media campaigns.
Incorporate a collaborative approach to filling vacancies.
Work closely with legal and compensation teams to ensure offers and contracts are executed accurately.
Actively participate in physician/provider events to cultivate a strong network
Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with providers
Coordinates provider application, developing provider contracts, credentialing, and implementation.
Identify and report market intelligence including competitive positioning, practice growth/vulnerability to senior leadership.
Provide ongoing support for relationships established with area physicians and act as the point person for concerns, communication, and information.
Identify succession opportunities in coordination with existing physicians to plan for future retirements.
Educate/enhance relationships within the provider community.
Support and build strong working relationships with physicians, Leadership, and external personnel.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in physician recruitment
Minimum 8 years of full life cycle recruiting experience
Clinical background/medical practice experience desirable
Ability and willingness to travel periodically up to 10-25%
Demonstrates commitment and accountability and is self-confident in executing responsibilities,excellent corporate work ethic.
Strong project and time management skills as well as analytical skills to perform forecast and modelreporting.
In-depth understanding of employment laws at the local, state, and federal levels and best practices in provider recruiting
Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in relevant applicant tracking systems, Workday preferred.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, including but not limited to Word, Excel, andPowerPoint. Proficiency with Google Workspace is also preferred.
Relevant certifications in talent acquisition and management (CPLP, SPHR, or SHRM-CP) preferred.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Compensation: $89k-$134k/annual salary
