Description
Please note, this position is remote with travel out in the field required.
The Physician Recruiter is responsible for contracting healthcare professionals for inclusion into the National Health Care Professional Network to meet client needs. This role involves researching sources, initial credentialing, and supporting national physician recruitment efforts. It ensures all recruited healthcare professionals are properly credentialed, maintains current records, and collaborates with the Physician Recruitment Team to facilitate recruitment processes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Research sources and contact potential physicians for inclusion in the National Health Care Professional Network.
- Participate in research to set fees and pricing in assigned states.
- Negotiate, obtain initial credentials, and contract with physicians for network inclusion.
- Represent the company at conferences, seminars, and meetings for physician recruitment, as directed by management.
- Renegotiate contracts with existing physicians as needed.
- Maintain professional contacts to enhance expertise in physician recruitment.
- Process client nominations of physicians for network inclusion and provide follow-up.
- Perform Open Service Requests in states without current operations or physician coverage.
- Promote positive physician relations, respond to their needs, and maintain confidentiality.
- Assist in resolving client and physician concerns related to services.
- Provide supervisory reports as required.
- Support special credentialing projects as directed.
- Maintain confidentiality of records and information.
- Participate in training, meetings, and telemarketing duties as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- At least two years of related experience in medical, legal, or insurance professions preferred.
- Minimum two years of sales experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid State Driver’s License.
