Job summary

Lee Health is seeking an experienced Physician Recruiter to help hire physicians and advanced practice providers for designated specialties. You will screen candidates and follow up for physician/APP candidates in designated specialties, coordinating with leadership and medical staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years direct recruiting experience required; physician/APP recruitment preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare recruiting and healthcare operations.
• Proficient with recruitment administration, reporting, and database tools.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Develops recruitment strategies/campaigns for physicians in designated specialties.
• Establishes relationships with external sourcing agencies when needed.
• Conducts telephone screening interviews with physician candidates.
• Verifies licensure and conducts reference checks for candidates.
• Coordinates site visits, meetings with leadership and medical staff.
• Serves as liaison with multiple internal departments and external partners.
• Supports physician onboarding and coordinates related events.

Lee Health is seeking an experienced Physician Recruiter to assist with hiring physicians and/or advanced practice providers for designated specialties as needed. This includes responsibility for candidate pre-screening and appropriate follow-up for physician/APP candidates in designated specialties. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• In partnership with the recruitment team, develops effective recruitment strategies/campaigns for recruitment of physicians in training and in practice in designated specialties including direct mail, advertising, residency programs, and state/national medical organization and specialty meetings.
• Establishes and maintains appropriate relationships with external sourcing agencies when necessary.
• Conducts telephone screening interviews with physician candidates.
• Conducts online searches, database inquiries and verification of licensure to vet candidates for consideration.
• Conducts personal/professional reference checking on physician candidates.
• Facilitates candidate completing online application for position of interest.
• Maintains database of all candidate information to include curriculum vitae, contact information, internal referrals and follow-up information.
• Coordinates site visits to include tours of the hospital campuses, practice sites, meetings with leadership, key medical staff members and tours of the practices and facilities.
• Serves as liaison with the candidate(s), division dyad leadership, practice, and Medical Staff Services, Employee Health, Lee professional billing, business development, physician contracting and physician compensation services.
• Participates in physician on-boarding, training, and helps to coordinate other new physician and advanced provider events.
• All other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelors degree required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience to validate commiserate skill set (minimum 5 years total) in a professional business setting.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years direct recruiting experience required. Physician and/or Advanced Practice Provider recruitment-related experience preferred. Business, sales, pharmaceutical, educational and other healthcare recruitment experience can be considered. Must have knowledge of healthcare recruiting and healthcare operations. Extensive knowledge of principles and practice of recruitment administration including, but not limited to report preparation, creation of spreadsheets, database information input and maintenance, creation of marketing tools such as flyers, brochures, etc. Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems software including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. required.
