Job summary

Mercy Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Physician Practice Coordinator to oversee the Colon & Rectal Program’s daily operations. You will coordinate staff, payroll, scheduling, and back-office coverage while partnering with the Area Vice President on priorities and performance.

In this role you will support physicians and staff with day-to-day needs, manage patient access and scheduling, and drive process improvements across the program. Travel to hubsite locations is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or 3 years of related Physician Practice Experience.
• Must be willing to travel to hubsite locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site daily operational oversight for the Colon & Rectal Program, including staff schedules and payroll.
• Work closely with the Area Vice President on operational priorities, practice performance, and program growth.
• Support physicians and staff with day-to-day operational needs.
• Provide coverage for patient scheduling, registration, and back-office functions as needed.
• Provide coverage and support for surgical scheduling.
• Coordinate ordering and maintenance of practice supplies.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, patient access, and patient throughput.
• Support implementation of operational initiatives and process improvements across the program.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or 3 years Physician Practice Experience
