HCA Healthcare's Appledore Family Medicine is seeking a Physician Services Office Scheduler to manage patient appointments, verify insurance, and maintain accurate demographic and scheduling data. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday during daytime hours with no nights or weekends.

Responsibilities include coordinating physician schedules, communicating testing requirements, and ensuring proper pre-authorizations are in the system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules all patient appointments for physician practices including cancellations and changes.
• Insurance verification and verification of patient demographics.
• Inform patient about out-of-network carriers when applicable.
• Inform office staff or patients of testing requirements in scheduling module.
• Ensure pre-cert/authorization numbers are entered as needed.
• Select correct patient medical record number consistently.
