The Physician Liaison acts as the primary contact for demand creation by executing marketing strategy and promoting USA Clinics Group. The Physician Liaison effectively communicates current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of services.
Responsibilities
- Promotes USA Clinics Group services by contacting healthcare providers in person, by phone, and email.
- Distributes clinical information and marketing literature to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Generates opportunities by calling physician offices and healthcare organizations.
- Follows-up with physicians to gather feedback and questions.
- Provides approved information to physicians on USA Clinics Group services.
- Provides feedback to sales management on customer requests, responses to promotions, and service issues.
- Achieves territory sales by executing the Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies, including delivering branded sales messages, executing planned programs, scheduling and following-up with medical educational programs, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Maintains activity levels, services, and manages accounts within the territory.
- Provides feedback on marketing strategy, reviews sales activities' effectiveness, and develops territory plans with management.
- Attends community and networking events as needed to represent the company and its services.
- Participates in required meetings such as internal growth meetings, staff meetings, and community events.
- Maintains collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues to contribute to team goals and foster a positive work environment.
- Performs additional duties as necessary.
- This position is full-time, based on a 40-hour workweek.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, healthcare administration, or related field is preferred.
- Experience in outside sales, business development, or related fields; pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience is preferred.
- General medical knowledge, especially related to our facility's services, treatments, and equipment.
- Willingness to travel.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and organizational skills.
- Experience with CRM and activity reporting software is a plus.
- Proven ability to produce business results effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain contacts with prospective and current referring providers.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of appointments, sales, calls, and follow-ups.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workflow to accomplish daily tasks efficiently.
