Job description

Position Overview

Interventional Cardiologist – West Virginia University Heart and Vascular Institute, based in Uniontown, PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care in general and interventional cardiology.
• Teach medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows.
• Participate in clinical research opportunities.
• Possibly provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia, with anticipated travel.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent and eligible for a state medical license.
• Completed a general cardiology fellowship and an interventional cardiology fellowship program.
• Board certified or eligible in interventional cardiology.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Work Schedule

40 hours per week. Exempt. Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
