Position Summary

The WVU School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute are seeking a non-invasive cardiologist for a faculty position in Uniontown, PA. Ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care of non-invasive cardiology patients.
• Teach medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows.
• Engage in clinical research activities.
• Provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia as required, including travel.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for a state medical license.
• Board certified or eligible in cardiovascular disease.
• Additional certification or intent to certify in imaging modalities such as echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and/or MRI.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Schedule

Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
