Position Overview

Interventional cardiologists to practice general and interventional cardiology based at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. The successful candidate will provide patient care, teaching of medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows, and may participate in clinical research.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical care in interventional cardiology.
• Teach medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows.
• Engage in clinical research.
• Potentially provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia with anticipated travel.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for state medical license.
• Completion of an internal medicine residency program, a general cardiology fellowship, and an interventional cardiology fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in interventional cardiology.
• All qualifications to be met by the time of appointment.

Work Hours

40 hours per week.
